This Research Use Only Notice ("RUO Notice") applies to all products sold by Ontario Bio Sciences ("Ontario Bio Sciences," "we," "us," or "our") through https://ontariobiosciences.com. Please read this notice carefully before purchasing or using any product.

1. For Research Use Only

All products sold by Ontario Bio Sciences are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research and scientific investigation use only. They are not intended for, and must not be used for, human consumption, animal consumption, or any clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic, or cosmetic application.

The phrase "Research Use Only" (RUO) on our products, labels, and documentation means that these compounds have not been evaluated, approved, or authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada, or any other regulatory authority for use in humans or animals. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, food additives, or medical devices.

2. Not Evaluated by the FDA or Health Canada

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration or Health Canada. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. No claims made on this Site or in any associated materials should be construed as medical or health advice.

3. No Medical or Therapeutic Claims

Ontario Bio Sciences makes no representation, warranty, or claim — express or implied — that any product:

• Is safe or effective for use in or on humans or animals;
• Will produce any particular biological, physiological, or therapeutic effect in a living organism; or
• Is suitable for any purpose other than authorized scientific research conducted in appropriate laboratory settings by qualified personnel.

Any scientific literature, citations, or research summaries referenced on this Site are provided solely for informational and educational purposes relating to the state of published research. They do not constitute an endorsement of any particular use, nor do they imply that the products sold here are equivalent to the substances described in that research.

4. Buyer Responsibility

By purchasing any product from Ontario Bio Sciences, the buyer expressly acknowledges and accepts sole responsibility for:

• Ensuring that their acquisition, possession, use, and disposal of the product complies with all applicable federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations in their jurisdiction;
• Implementing adequate safety protocols, containment measures, and handling procedures appropriate to the compounds being used;
• Ensuring that all persons who handle the products are qualified, trained, and working within a suitable research environment; and
• Any consequences arising from misuse, unauthorized use, or use inconsistent with this RUO Notice.

Ontario Bio Sciences expressly disclaims all liability for harm, loss, or damage — to persons, property, or otherwise — arising from any use of our products outside of authorized laboratory research.

5. Certificate of Analysis

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided for each batch of products. The COA documents the identity, purity, and quality-control testing performed on that batch. It is the buyer's responsibility to review the COA prior to use and to assess whether the product meets the specifications required for their specific research application. COAs are available upon request by contacting [email protected] with your order reference number, or may be provided with your shipment.

6. Age Restriction

Products may only be purchased by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement.

7. Regulatory Compliance

It is the buyer's sole responsibility to determine the regulatory status of any product in their jurisdiction prior to ordering. Some compounds may be subject to import restrictions, controlled-substance regulations, or other legal requirements that vary by country, province, or state. Ontario Bio Sciences does not provide legal or regulatory advice. If you are uncertain about the legality of importing or possessing a particular compound, consult a qualified legal or regulatory professional before ordering.
