Semax
Cognitive & Sleep · 10 mg fill · Research Peptide
A heptapeptide ACTH(4-7) analog with a Pro-Gly-Pro extension, studied in BDNF and NGF expression models.
Overview
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide built from the ACTH(4-7) fragment and extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro tripeptide that slows enzymatic cleavage. Unlike full-length ACTH it carries no corticotropic activity. Rodent studies describe upregulated BDNF and NGF expression and altered dopaminergic and serotonergic signaling. The clinical literature is largely Russian-language and not independently replicated. Supplied lyophilized for in-vitro research use.
