Selank
Cognitive & Sleep · 10 mg fill · Research Peptide
A synthetic heptapeptide analog of the immunopeptide tuftsin, studied in GABAergic gene-expression models.
Overview
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro, developed as a metabolically stabilised analog of the endogenous immunopeptide tuftsin. Preclinical work describes modulation of GABAergic gene expression, inhibition of enkephalin-degrading enzymes and changes in hippocampal BDNF expression. Controlled clinical evidence is confined to small Russian-language studies without independent replication. Supplied lyophilized for in-vitro research use.
