KPV

Immune & Inflammation · 10 mg fill · Research Peptide

The C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH, studied for NF-κB and MAP-kinase pathway inhibition in cell models.

Overview

KPV is the naturally occurring C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (Lys-Pro-Val). It retains the anti-inflammatory signaling described for the parent hormone without its pigmentation activity. Cell-culture and rodent studies report inhibition of NF-κB and MAP-kinase signaling and reduced pro-inflammatory cytokine output. No controlled human trials exist. Supplied lyophilized for in-vitro research use.
